Summertown Utility District offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.

Online Bill Payment

To pay your bill Online just click the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button.  Follow the instructions below:

Steps to sign up for easy credit card payments:

Go to www.citisenportal.com

> Click the “Log in/Register” button on the top right of blue stripe.

> Select the “Register” tab in the box that comes up in the middle of the page.

> Fill in your information. The email address can only be used by one account holder, that will
be your user name.

> Create a password: Must be 10 CHARACTERS, Use at least one UPPER and LOWER case,
include at least one NUMBER and contain at least one SPECIAL CHARACTER (i.e.; !@#$%).

> You will then need to go to the email account you entered and open the email from
CitiSenPortal.com and follow the link to confirm your email account.

> After you confirm your email you can sign into your SUD account.

> Select “Summertown Utility District” from the drop-down menu. Then enter the whole account
number and name exactly as listed on your SUD account.

> Once signed in you will be able to see your balance due, your current bill, past bills and
payment history.

You can add other accounts by clicking the “Add Account” button below your bill information if
you have more than one account you pay for (follow the same steps for registering that account).

You can also select “Pay as Guest” on the top right of the blue stripe if you have not registered
your account yet. You will need your whole account number and exact name as listed on your
SUD account. You will only be able to see the balance due and not past billing information. We
do suggest you register your account so you only have to enter all the information once.

Payment By Mail 

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon to SUD, P.O. Box 281, Summertown, TN 38483. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill. 

Pay By Phone: Call 1-855-998-3488--Have your account number and credit card ready.

There will be a 2.5% (of the payment amount) processing fee for all credit card payments.

Automatic Bank Draft

The worry-free way to pay your water bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automated Bank Draft, simply download and fill out the Auto Draft Form located in the Forms & Reports Section and drop it off or mail it to our office, along with a voided check. 

Payment Drop-off Location

You may pay your bill in person at our office address. We accept cash, check, or money orders. To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays and the first day after a holiday are normally very busy. 

Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay

Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to ten business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information. Be sure to include your full account number and name we have the account listed as on the memo line.
